I'm not gonna try catching up on my flist today. I don't have the energy. For some reason, someone up there thought that it would be funny to make me get sick over break. Nothing major- just a minor cold and a sore throat, both of which I am beating back with hot tea and stuff, but... I just wanted to post today.

I'm not exactly a religious woman. By which I mean, I'm not religious in the slightest. And even if I was, I'm Jewish, so today would be just another day anyway. But I still felt it would be appropriate to make this kind of a post today.

I just wanted to say that I love you all. I'm so thankful to have every last one of you in my life, and you're all so utterly amazing and everything. And whether you're actually religious, or not at all, or you're not at all Christian and you're celebrating Go See A Movie And Eat Chinese Food Day instead (like me), I still hope you're having an amazing time, and a good holiday season overall. And I love you.

I got an L plushie last Sunday, which kind of makes me really happy. I've wanted one for AGES, so now I saw it and I was all "You know what? Screw it. I have the money... I'll just get it!!" So I did. And it makes me happy.  XD

Tomorrow is my school's Talent Show, and I'm in two acts- my act with my Drama Club, and then my solo performance (I'm singing Kristin Chenoweth's Taylor, the Latte Boy.) Kinda nervous, but... yay performance? Yay performance!

Right. I'm sure I had more I wanted to post about, but... I have to go now-ish. So yes. Link me to your wishlists, people!!  8D

So. I went to go see Avatar tonight. Not as in The Last Airbender- as in, James Cameron's Avatar. ( Spoiler-free thoughts... but under a cut anyway for those like me who don't want to know ANYTHING about a movie before going to see it )

Fff. Fuck you too, college applications.

On the bright side, I got in my application to Brandeis University.

Also: grades. I got them back today.

Creative Writing: 88
Women's Studies: pass (it's a pass/fail course)
Participation in Government: 98
Criminal Law & Forensics: 95
Current Events: pass (also a pass/fail course)
Honors Precalculus: 97
Health: 91
Physical Education (Gym): 85
Diagnosing Disease: 90

OVERALL AVERAGE: 93.36%

Wow. I'm actually pretty impressed with myself. Save for Creative Writing and Gym (but that doesn't really count anyway), I'm a straight-A student. ("I'm a serious, straight-A student... a model teenager!" Fff, I'm totally Kira now. Fantastic. XD) That's kind of awesome. Just sayin'.

Mmkay, I'm done now. Just wanted to share before I dive back into the pile of misery that is college applications.
